We are the foremost logistics company in Nigeria. To maintain our leadership position within the top 3, we require the services of a Human Resource Officer to join our HR team. 

Location: Yaba, Lagos (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full‑Time
Qualification: BSc/HND in Human Resource Management or related discipline
Experience: 3–6 years as an HR Generalist
Salary Range: ₦150,000–₦200,000/month

About ABC Transport

ABC Transport Plc commenced operation in road passenger transportation on February 13, 1993, as an offshoot of Rapido Ventures to run a modern road transportation system in Nigeria. In March 2003, Capital Alliance Private Equity (CAPE) acquired 30% shares of ABC Transport. With the acquisition, Capital Alliance (Nigeria) became a stakeholder in ABC TRANSPORT, a partnership that re-positioned the company for greater performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management: Implement appraisal cycles, handle evaluations, and follow up on performance improvement plans
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training needs assessments, organize workshops, and monitor staff development
  • HRIS & Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the HRIS, generate reports, and ensure data integrity
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Support hiring processes—from job postings to candidate screening and induction
  • Employee Relations: Address staff issues, resolve grievances, and foster a positive work environment
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure adherence to labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices
  • Office Tools Proficiency: Expert use of Excel and MS Office for reporting, scheduling, and HR analytics

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–6 years’ hands-on experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in logistics or FMCG
  • Strong skills in performance management and employee development
  • Competent with HRIS platforms and data management
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Self‑driven with the ability to manage HR projects independently
  • CIPM membership or HR certification is a plus, but not required
