Job Title: Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of multiple sites across the Lagos Mainland and Lekki Phase I. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, sustainable, and safe environments for all occupants while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Facilities Oversight

  • Manage both hard services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and soft services (cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management).
  • Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring high availability of all facility systems.
  • Lead workplace improvement projects, space planning, and minor refurbishment works.

Contractor & Service Provider Management

  • Select and oversee contractors and vendors, monitoring performance and ensuring contracts deliver value for money.
  • Act as the primary liaison for site-related emergencies and operational needs.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all sites meet statutory and industry regulations for HSE (Health, Safety & Environment).
  • Maintain licenses and certifications, and liaise with regulatory bodies as required.

Budgeting, Procurement & Reporting

  • Develop, manage, and monitor facilities budgets; track expenditures and analyse cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage procurement of supplies and services, maintaining accurate reporting for management review.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager, preferably overseeing multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of building services, CAFM systems, and statutory compliance.
  • Familiarity with HSE legislation and sustainable facilities practices.
  • Proven experience managing contractors and vendor performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., IWFM, IFMA) are desirable and will be advantageous.
